Join National Dentex – a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this CAD CAM Technician Design opportunity at NDX Rogers in Athens, TN.
The regular hours for this position are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday , subject to change from time to time.
This is a full‑time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401(k) with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
Scan and design cases.
Quality check other technicians’ scans.
Send implant case scans to design agencies for abutment.
Digital denture setup design.
All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required
Knowledge of tooth anatomy.
Ability to articulate according to Rx.
Identify margins through impressions.
Excellent hand‑eye coordination.
Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain, and execute on written and verbal instructions.
High level of organizational skill with ability to prioritize work.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Minimum Education and Experience
Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
Perform repetitive motions and exhibit fine motor skills.
Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
