Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise for large‑scale or enterprise‑level database services.
Practice/Technical Director provides technology and industry leadership on large and/or more complex IT engagements.
Lead enterprise‑wide solution engagements for high‑quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.
Develop integrated and robust solutions based on customer needs combining GOTS, COTS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and third‑party components.
Provide subject‑matter experience to assist customers through difficult business decisions.
Design, configure and implement all aspects of the full‑stack architecture delivering innovative solutions by combining Oracle best practices, knowledge in IT product offerings, and business acumen.
Recommend enhancements to meet complex customer needs.
Key Requirements
Possess an active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
10+ years experience administering and engineering solutions with Oracle’s database (10 – current).
Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as, the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery.
Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.
BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent year’s experience.
Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
Location Annapolis Junction, MD
Salary Range The salary range for this full‑time position is $170,000 to $260,000. Within the range, your salary is determined by your individual benefits package selection.
