We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in the agricultural sector, responsible for developing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and achieving ambitious sales targets. Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximise their potential and performance.
Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners within the agri-food sector.
Identify new market opportunities and emerging trends to expand the company's market presence.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
Collaborate closely with the marketing, logistics, and production teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality customer experience.
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar senior sales role, preferably within the agri-food or agricultural supplies industry.
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization.
Strong business sense and in-depth industry expertise.
Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
A consistent track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field is highly desirable.
