KPG is seeking a highly motivated Sales and Leasing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, along with a good understanding of the commercial real estate market. Some experience is preferred, but not required.
The Associate will be responsible for managing and facilitating the sale, purchase, and leasing of commercial properties. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, providing expert market guidance, and supporting them through each stage of the transaction to ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with buying, selling, and leasing commercial properties, including office buildings, retail spaces, industrial properties, and land.
Conduct market research to identify comparables, opportunities, trends, and values in the commercial real estate sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including property owners, investors, tenants, and other stakeholders.
Conduct property tours, showcasing the features and benefits of properties to potential buyers or tenants.
Conduct negotiations on property sales or lease agreements, ensuring favorable terms for clients. Senior brokerage personnel will be available to help assist and train in this area.
Prepare and review contracts, lease agreements, and other necessary documents from a business standpoint, while assisting clients in their review of same.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote properties and attract potential buyers or tenants.
Work with other brokers, agents, and internal teams to meet client objectives and close deals successfully.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred).
Valid PA Real Estate Salesperson’s license. If this is a new employee, this can be procured during the first 1-2 months of job training.
2+ years of experience in commercial real estate sales, leasing, or brokerage is preferred.
Strong understanding of the commercial real estate market, including lease structures, financing options, and property valuation.
Skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency (preferred) in MS Office Suite, real estate software (e.g., CoStar, and LoopNet) and various marketing platforms.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Compensation
Compensation is primarily commission-based. Alternative compensation structures may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis, but compensation (longer term) is predominantly commission-driven.
Benefits package may include healthcare coverage, retirement plan options, and other employee benefits.
Company Incentives
Company will offer referral business to agent to fill their pipeline, including a portion of company’s lease renewal activity during each year, although the agent will be expected to generate their own leads as well.
Company will provide subscription to real estate software, including Costar and MLS.
