We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization seeking an Account Manager / Inside Sales Representative to join their team in Hiawatha, IA. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys balancing relationship management, sales support, problem-solving, and operational coordination. You'll serve as a trusted resource for customers, helping them identify the right solutions while ensuring a seamless experience from quote to delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
Partner with customers to understand their needs and recommend products, materials, and value-added solutions
Prepare accurate quotes, pricing proposals, and cost calculations while maintaining profitability goals
Manage customer orders from initial inquiry through fulfillment and delivery
Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and leadership teams to support strategic accounts and business objectives
Monitor customer activity, project timelines, and order status to ensure exceptional service
Support new business development initiatives and identify opportunities for account growth
Participate in customer visits, industry events, trade shows, training programs, and team meetings as needed
Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and follow-up What We're Looking For
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Customer service, account management, inside sales, or business development experience
Manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or technical product experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment
