We want a candidate comfortable stepping into unfamiliar situations, learning quickly, and adapting to new challenges. You should have direct customer‑facing experience, whether in person or by phone, and enjoy helping people. You should have experience working on a technical team and be prepared to mentor others and cross‑train with colleagues. You should have hands‑on experience with ticket or case management systems and be able to own work from start to finish with limited oversight. You should have strong documentation skills and experience using documentation systems to create clear, peer‑friendly materials. You should be able to collaborate across multiple locations and time zones while completing tasks thoroughly. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should have at least 3 years of operational experience with Juniper MX/SRX/EX, Arista switching, or Cisco Catalyst/Nexus/ASR. You should have at least 3 years of operational experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls. You should have extensive operational experience with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF. You should have extensive operational experience with networking standards and protocols such as EVPN, VXLAN, VRRP, LACP, and VLANs. You should have extensive operational experience provisioning IPsec VPN tunnels across multiple platforms. You should have operational experience troubleshooting and configuring cloud and hypervisor networking. You should have operational experience with L3VPN and MPLS. You should have operational experience using NetBox for data center inventory and resource tracking. You should have operational experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter basics. You should have operational experience with VMware NSX‑T. You should have experience troubleshooting layer 1 issues, including fiber cross‑connects. You should have experience deploying and operating Palo Alto Panorama in a multitenant environment. Preferred certifications include Juniper JNCIS‑SP, Juniper JNCIS‑ENT, Cisco CCNA, JNCIA‑JUNOS, or Palo Alto PCNSE. You should be available for an 8‑hour shift Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, with some flexibility. You should be able to work in a hybrid setup with 3 days per week in our Downtown Phoenix office and 2 days remote. You should be open to traveling approximately 4 to 8 weeks per year, excluding company events. You should be available for an on‑call rotation supporting network‑specific escalations. You must have 3 years of network engineering experience. You must have 3 years of experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls. You must be based in Phoenix, Arizona. Responsibilities Provision new cloud customer networking. Monitor and troubleshoot our internal and customer network infrastructure to maintain stability and performance. Support customer networking requests and issues through tickets. Collaborate with other engineers on network escalations, customer projects, new office deployments, and infrastructure rollouts. Maintain and continually improve internal and customer‑facing documentation.
