We are looking for our next Plant Manager within one of our pharmaceutical excipient production facilities. The Plant Manager will be responsible for site personnel, legal compliancy of assets, community relations, and achievement of business and corporate goals. The role provides strategic direction across all site functions, supports and establishes a productive culture, and is a key member of the business operations leadership team.
This position is located in Newark, DE.
Compensation:
The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $173,000 - $234,000. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Need:
- M.Sc. degree in engineering or science with experience in either industrial biochemistry, pharma or food additives; or a Bachelor's Degree in engineering with 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Manufacturing experience which includes exposure to HSE, Quality, Food Safety/Pharma, Maintenance and Continuous Improvement systems and tools.
- Experience in supervising people and leading teams.
Work Environment:
- This role spends approximately 70% of the time in an office environment and 30% of the time in the plant environment.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to speak or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; work in hot, cold and loud environments.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position. Days and flexible hours of work are required to meet facility demands.
