Wat ga je doen?
Als vrachtwagenchauffeur in opleiding bij PostNL start als bijrijder op een vrachtwagen. Je ondersteunt de chauffeur bij het laden en lossen van rolcontainers en pallets en rijdt mee op verschillende routes door Nederland. Zo leer je hoe onze logistiek werkt, hoe je veilig rijdt en hoe je met klanten en collega’s samenwerkt.
In de tussentijd volg je jouw C en/of CE-opleiding, met als doel om binnen 6 maanden je CE-rijbewijs te halen. De opleiding wordt volledig betaald door PostNL, en de tijd die je besteed aan je opleiding krijg je doorbetaald.
Zodra je je rijbewijs haalt, stap je zelf achter het stuur van jouw PostNL‑vrachtwagen. Je rijdt vooral routes tussen onze sorteercentra en grote klanten: langere afstanden, weinig stops en goed georganiseerd werk. Je rooster ontvang je elke donderdag, zodat je precies weet waar je aan toe bent.
Wat breng jij mee?
Je bent gemotiveerd om chauffeur te worden en je wilt graag leren. Je bent een goede chauffeur, houdt van aanpakken en vindt het fijn als je werkdag goed geregeld is.
Verder:
- Je hebt een geldig Nederlands rijbewijs B (rijbewijs C/CE is niet nodig).
- Je beheerst de Nederlandse taal.
- Je bent beschikbaar om te werken in een roulatiepatroon (vroeg, dag, laat, nacht). Als je dat zelf wilt, kan je ook op zon – of feestdagen werken (niet verplicht).
- Je weet van aanpakken en je werkt graag zelfstandig.
- Je bent fysiek in staat om rolcontainers en pallets te laden en te lossen.
- Je hebt eigen vervoer naar de standplaats.
- Je bent betrouwbaar en zorgvuldig: afspraken nakomen is voor jou vanzelfsprekend.
Wat bezorgen we jou?
- Je start met een contract van 12 maanden, met uitzicht op een vast contract bij goed functioneren. Voorwaarde is wel dat je binnen 6 maanden je CE rijbewijs behaalt.
- Het CE‑rijbewijs + Code 95 volledig betaald door PostNL. Onze chauffeurscoach vertelt je graag meer over de voorwaarden die hierbij horen.
- Arbeidsvoorwaarden volgens de cao van PostNL, waaronder 20-40% toeslag bij avond-, nacht- en zaterdagdiensten en 100% toeslag op zon- en feestdagen. Deze toeslag is gemiddeld € 300 per maand, maar kan oplopen tot wel € 1.000.
- Doorbetaling van wachttijd.
- Gratis nascholing Code 95.
- 5 weken vakantie en 8% vakantiegeld.
- Reiskosten- en smartphonevergoeding.
- Pensioenopbouw vanaf 18 jaar.
- Extra gewerkte uren krijg je uitbetaald. Je mag ze ook opsparen en later opnemen als vrije dagen.
