What You'll Do:
Oversee daily operations of the Dietary Department, including supervising staff, developing schedules, and ensuring efficient meal service delivery. Manage food and supply inventory by forecasting needs, ordering products, and maintaining adequate stock levels to support resident dining services. Prepare and oversee the preparation of nutritious meals, snacks, and special menu items in accordance with recipes, dietary requirements, and food safety standards. Ensure food quality by monitoring cooking processes, portioning and presenting meals, and verifying proper preparation, temperature control, and taste standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment by enforcing sanitation practices, overseeing cleaning procedures, and ensuring compliance with applicable health regulations. What You'll Need:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
ServSafe or CFPM designation certificate preferred, but can also obtain upon hire One year minimum prior leadership experience in a commercial kitchen setting Prior leadership experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate, read and write fluently in English Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment Benefits Available to You (For Eligible Positions):
