Program Quality Assurance Engineer II (Project QA) Responsibilities Lead the implementation, maturity assessment and improvement of all processes throughout the production lifecycle to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment.
Lead program team members to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a quality and customer/stakeholder point of view.
Identify Quality Assurance activities to mitigate risk.
Collaborate with the program team to develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality activities.
Validate that an effective internal controls system is in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements.
Perform audits on program delivery and ensure that the use of quality data analytics to identify risks and nonconformances and that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.

Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline
Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations

Required Qualifications
Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other Engineering-related degree.
Knowledge, skills & abilities: Program Quality. Issue Resolution. KPI Management. Performance Analysis. Quality Audit. Quality Improvement. Regulatory Compliance. ISO9001:2015 Lead auditor or AS9100D Lead Auditor.
Relevant Program Quality Engineering experience within Manufacturing, Military, Aerospace/Aviation, Medical industry.
TipQA. Six Sigma Green Belt. Project Management Professional. Strong Mechanical Background. Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to monitor and steer program's performance.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Travel Requirements
