The prestigious Northwestern Memorial Hospital is seeking a Dual-Trained Cardiothoracic and Critical Care Anesthesiologist to be a key player in one of the nation's top-ranked cardiac programs. In this dynamic role, you'll work alongside a world-class team of cardiac surgeons in a high-acuity environment, excelling in advanced ECMO, LVAD, robotics, and transplant surgeries. With a high volume of cases annually, including a growing number of heart transplants and lung procedures, you'll thrive in a supportive, collaborative team.

Opportunity Highlights Join Northwestern Memorial's dynamic medical center, excelling in high-acuity cardiothoracic and transplant surgeries Join a collegial team that enjoys working collaboratively with surgeons, perfusionists, and nurses Receive strong mentoring from senior attendings dedicated to supporting new team members Contribute to a high-volume cardiac anesthesiology team supporting a growing heart transplant program Engage in advanced ECMO, LVAD, robotics, and aortic dissection procedures in a true academic setting Work alongside 7 to 8 expert cardiac surgeons, each excelling in their unique surgical specialties Provide ICU coverage at least 8 weeks per year, up to 26 weeks annually Enjoy a teaching and service partnership with Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Northwestern Memorial Hospital is on the US News Honor Roll, nationally ranked in 11 adult specialties, No. 1 in Illinois, and No. 1 in Chicago US News & World Report ranks Northwestern's cardiac program seventh in the nation
