Requirements:
Inpatient experience within the last 3 years is required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for inpatient pharmacy services, including procurement, distribution, storage, and administration of medications. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding pharmaceutical services. Review medication orders for appropriateness and correctness to ensure safe medication use. Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and maintain the pharmacy services policy and procedure manual. Maintain inventory and resolve discrepancies related to medications. Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge of the hospital pharmacy and assist with pharmacy licensure issues as needed.
Compliance / Notes: Maintains confidentiality of patient information as established by facility policies and procedures.
