Perform Diagnostic Imaging: Conduct high-quality transthoracic (TTE), transesophageal (TEE), and stress echocardiograms to assist in diagnosing cardiac conditions. Work Schedule: Day shifts, Monday through Friday. Evaluate Patient Information: Review and interpret patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic results to contribute to accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to create and update personalized care plans for patients. Ultrasound Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all ultrasound machines are well-maintained, properly calibrated, and operational for daily procedures. Requirements:
Experience/Education: At least 1 year of practical experience or graduation from an accredited ultrasound program. Certifications: RDCS or RCS certification in adult echocardiography, or RVT or RVS in vascular ultrasound (must be obtained within 1 year of employment). CPR Certification: Current certification required. Additional Responsibilities:
Cardiac & Vascular Imaging: Perform thorough cardiac and vascular ultrasound studies in the Non-Invasive Cardiology department. Equipment Proficiency: Develop expertise in using ultrasound machines, PVR systems, blood pressure monitors, and related technologies. Ongoing Education & Meetings: Participate in regular training sessions, team meetings, and required online learning modules. On-Call Availability: Be available for on-call duties when needed, including after hours, weekends, and holidays.
