Job Description Job Summary: The MRI Technologist is responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. They will assist patients through the imaging process, ensuring comfort and safety under physician supervision. Responsibilities:
Position and immobilize patients accurately on the exam table to ensure clear imaging. Explain procedures to patients to foster understanding and cooperation. Operate MRI equipment efficiently, following safety protocols to protect patients and staff. Review and evaluate captured images to confirm they meet diagnostic quality standards. Observe patients during scans, responding promptly to any concerns or issues. Maintain equipment and ensure proper calibration for optimal performance. Qualifications:
Possess a valid MRI technologist certification or license. Demonstrate proficiency in operating MRI imaging equipment. Possess strong patient communication and interpersonal skills. Maintain knowledge of safety precautions and radiation protection measures. Prior experience in a clinical imaging environment is preferred.
