The Analyst, E-Commerce Fraud Strategy reports to the Manager, E-Commerce Fraud Strategy within the Credit Management and Bank Operations (CMBO) division of Canadian Tire Bank. The eCommerce Fraud Strategy unit is dedicated solely to fraud management of select eCommerce banners, including CanadianTire.ca.
As an E-Commerce Fraud Analyst, you will work cross-functionally to improve our E-Commerce fraud risk posture by supporting process improvements, training, and fraudulent order detection. Working closely with internal teams including customer service, business, product development, and investigations, you will attain a rare wide-angle view of the customer fraud journey. As a member of CMBO, you will also have access to teams that are highly experienced in credit card risk management and issuer fraud management. Our world-class analysts get cradle-to-grave strategy experience, from data extraction and analysis to strategy design, testing, and deployment, and are encouraged to rotate within CMBO units to develop new skills and gain additional experience.
What youu2019ll do:
Analyze high-risk E-Commerce orders and chargebacks and share feedback on fraud trends to mitigate future fraud risk
Complete ad-hoc analysis involving large data sets and correlate actionable insights and operational improvements
Forecast future Cancellations and Chargeback levels
Manage the intake, triage and resolution of inbound E-Commerce fraud inquiries and incidents
Fraud detection support/backup for Triangle Rewards program
Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional teams and external partners to achieve E-Commerce Fraud Strategy objectives
What you bring:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to tell a compelling story with data
Strong skillset across the MS Office Suite, including a intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
Proficient knowledge of one or more programming languages (SAS, SQL and Python) is essential
Prior exposure to payments, disputes and chargebacks processes
Prior exposure to fraud detection platforms would be an asset

Broadband Salary Range: $53,000 u2013 $88,000 .
Our typical hiring range is between $53,000 and $70,000 . Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
