As a Software Engineering Intern or Master's Project contributor at Powernaut, you won't just be learning; you'll be actively designing, developing, and deploying solutions that power the next generation of energy management. Here's how you'll make an impact:
Develop Scalable Software: Contribute to the design and implementation of our backend services, APIs, and data processing pipelines using modern technologies.
Solve Real‑World Challenges: Tackle complex problems related to energy data, grid stability, and device orchestration, seeing your code directly impact the energy transition.
Build Intuitive Frontends: Contribute to our user interfaces, making complex energy data and controls accessible and easy to use.
Innovate with Machine Learning: For those in ML, you'll work on the orchestration and forecasting of the behaviour of thousands of smart devices, optimising their contribution to grid stability.
Ensure Robustness and Performance: Participate in code reviews, testing, and optimisation efforts to ensure our software is reliable, efficient, and ready for massive scale.
Innovate and Experiment: Bring your ideas to the table! We encourage exploration of new technologies and approaches to continuous improvement.
Your Profile We're seeking a driven and bright software engineer who is ready to dive deep and contribute meaningfully.
You'll fit right in if you:
Have a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, object‑oriented design, etc.).
Possess a solid grasp of TypeScript, Python, or AWS – one of these should hold few secrets for you!
Possess strong problem‑solving skills and enjoy tackling intricate technical challenges.
Collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced, agile team environment.
Have been fixing your family's printers since you were 10 years old (optional, but a great indicator of your innate troubleshooting skills!).
