Job Description
As a Security Guard Armed Security Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location as an armed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, deliveries, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site policies to help support a controlled location environment.
- Maintain assigned armed post equipment and follow applicable post orders, Allied Universal guidelines, and legal requirements while supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
