This regional medical center serves as a leading healthcare provider in the Tri-Cities area, offering comprehensive neurological care to the community. As a Level 3 trauma facility, it provides essential medical services with a strong focus on specialized neurological treatments, particularly for Multiple Sclerosis patients.
Opportunity:
Physician - Neurology
Job Details: • Coverage needed starting April/May or as soon as credentialed • Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-5pm with potential for one week of call per month (Monday-Monday) • Schedule will be up to full time, minimum two weeks per month • Must be experienced in treating Multiple Sclerosis • Certification with the TOUCH Prescribing Program to prescribe Tysabri required • Ability to read EEGs is required (Brain death exam skills also required) • EMG, NCV, and Evoked potentials skills preferred • Peripheral nerve blocks skills preferred • Experience with Epic electronic medical record system required • Must be able to complete new patient appointments in 40 minutes and 20-minute follow-ups • Average of 15 patient encounters per shift • Board certification required • Active Washington state license or IMLC required • Overtime available after 40 hours per week
