About the Role
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern engineering practices. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys building scalable systems, eliminating manual processes, and continuously improving how software is delivered.
You will play a key role in designing and operating cloud environments, leading infrastructure-as-code initiatives, and advancing CI/CD automation. This position is well-suited for someone who not only understands DevOps, but actively evolves it through new tools and approaches.
Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery Develop and maintain Terraform modules and infrastructure-as-code frameworks Drive automation across environments to reduce manual effort and improve consistency Partner with engineering, QA, and architecture teams to deliver reliable systems Own monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies to ensure system performance and availability Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis with a focus on long-term solutions Implement and enforce cloud security best practices Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement Stay current with trends in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and automation Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering, including senior-level responsibilities Strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture and services Deep experience with Terraform, including modules, state management, and automation Proven experience building and scaling CI/CD pipelines Experience with AI-assisted development tools, particularly Claude Code and the Claude Agent SDK, is strongly preferred Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams Preferred Qualifications
AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Terraform certification Experience designing and implementing AI agents using the Claude Agent SDK and MCP for DevOps automation and infrastructure orchestration Experience with additional infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Pulumi Exposure to AI-assisted development or automation tools Experience building and supporting large-scale production systems What Sets This Role Apart
