EXPERIENCED, WINE SALES REPRESENTATIVE – LOS ANGELES
We are actively seeking highly motivated, relationship-driven wine industry professionals to expand our presence throughout the Los Angeles market.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced wine sales representatives, brokers, distributor representatives, and independent beverage professionals who understand supplier/distributor relationships, account development, and brand growth within the Southern California wine market.
POSITION OVERVIEW The Sales Representative will be responsible for introducing and growing our portfolio of premium wines across Los Angeles County. This includes developing new business and maintaining relationships with:
Restaurants Wine bars Cocktail bars with wine programs Wine shops and specialty retail accounts Hospitality and on-premise beverage programs
The ideal candidate already has established relationships within the Los Angeles hospitality and beverage community and can independently build territory coverage, secure placements, and drive sales growth.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR Proven wine, spirits, or beverage alcohol sales experience Existing relationships with restaurant, wine bar, retail, and hospitality accounts in Los Angeles preferred Self-starters who thrive in an entrepreneurial environment Professionals comfortable prospecting, opening, and managing territories independently Strong communication, follow-through, negotiation, and closing skills Ability to present wines, conduct tastings, and build long-term account partnerships Passion for premium wine, storytelling, and brand building
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Introduce and sell our wine portfolio to restaurants, wine bars, retail wine shops, and hospitality accounts throughout Los Angeles Open new accounts and expand distribution within assigned territories Conduct wine tastings, staff trainings, and account visits Develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers, beverage directors, sommeliers, and account decision-makers Execute sales goals and support long-term brand growth in the market Work closely with management and distribution partners to identify opportunities and increase market penetration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience selling premium wine in the Los Angeles market Established network of restaurant, retail, and hospitality contacts Knowledge of the Southern California wine landscape and competitive market dynamics WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, or related wine education is a plus
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE We offer an aggressive, performance-based, tiered commission compensation plan with substantial upside potential for top producers.
