Position: Design Quality Assurance Engineer (Onsite, U.S. Citizenship Required) Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Salary Range: $107,500 - $204,500 Role Type: Onsite What You Will Do Assure new developments meet customer, company, DO-178, and regulatory requirements as applicable. Audit and assess engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle processes to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, delivering problem‑free products. Employ quality‑related tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Variation Reduction, Key Characteristics, etc., as appropriate. Analyze project data for trends and systemic issues; recommend corrective action. Assist transition to production to ensure D&Drelated quality issues are resolved, documented, and communicated to production. Ensure effective and appropriate project process tailoring and approvals. Ensure plans incorporate latest lessons learned. Qualifications You Must Have Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, OR an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Experience with software development and the associated processes. Experience in the engineering development lifecycle(s). Qualifications We Prefer Working knowledge of the aerospace industry, manufacturing, and system development and associated processes. Experience working with regulatory agencies in aerospace, pharma, medical devices, finance, healthcare, energy, etc. Experience leading or mentoring a team.
