Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including workstations, file servers, and web servers Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with DoD security requirements Perform system upgrades, patch management, and vulnerability remediation Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity, system functionality, and cybersecurity incidents Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems Ensure system configurations remain compliant with DoD cybersecurity policies and Cyber Workforce (CWF) requirements Develop, maintain, and update system documentation, standard operating procedures, and user guides Provide responsive, customer-focused technical support and training to end users Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and project-based IT initiatives Location Port Hueneme, CA (On-site) Clearance Active Top Secret (T5/SSBI) Required Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in systems administration or a related IT discipline Active DoD Top Secret clearance (T5) investigation eligibility required at time of hire DoD 8570/8140 compliant IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, or equivalent) required prior to start Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Navy or other DoD environments Hands‑on experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems in enterprise environments Familiarity with network management, virtualization, and cybersecurity best practices Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Ability to operate effectively in a team‑oriented, mission‑driven environment Benefits At RMC, we’re committed to your career growth.
