Job Summary We are seeking a DevOps Lead with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, private networking, firewalls, and VPN architectures to design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and highly available platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on technical leader who can own infrastructure strategy while working closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability, security, and operational excellence across environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud infrastructure architectures with a strong focus on private networks, network segmentation, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and security best practices.
Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, performance, and cost optimization.
Design and manage VPC/VNet architectures, subnets, routing, NAT, gateways, security groups, and firewall rules.
Implement and manage site-to-site and client VPNs, hybrid connectivity, and secure access models.
Select, provision, and manage cloud services on AWS and Azure, including governance, access control, and cost management.
Manage and maintain development, staging, and production environments to ensure stability, uptime, and security.
Lead and oversee CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes to enable reliable software delivery.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
Act as a technical bridge between development, operations, and security teams, ensuring smooth deployments and rapid issue resolution.
Monitor infrastructure and network performance, investigate incidents, and drive root‑cause analysis and preventive improvements.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Create and maintain clear technical documentation covering infrastructure design, networking, security controls, and operational processes.
Stay current with emerging DevOps, cloud, and security technologies to continuously improve platform reliability and performance.
Ensure timely delivery of infrastructure solutions within defined timelines and resource constraints.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
8+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure roles.
Strong expertise in cloud networking, including private networks, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and network security.
Hands‑on experience with AWS, including core infrastructure and networking services.
Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
Hands‑on exposure to Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, NAT, VPNs, firewalls).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM.
Ability to estimate cloud usage costs, design cost‑efficient architectures, and implement cost control mechanisms.
Experience migrating on‑premises or legacy workloads to cloud environments is a strong plus.
AWS Cloud Architect certification is preferred (not mandatory).
Experience working with US or European clients is a plus.
Proven experience working in multi‑vendor, distributed, offshore/onshore teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and confidently.
