Louth Ref: S12002 RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager within the Leisure/Hospitality industry.
This role will lead a high-performing sales team driving forward growth, identify new market opportunities, strengthen key client relationships and support the profitability of the business.
Requirements: Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or account management.
Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
Commercially focused with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Strong financial and commercial awareness.
Experience using CRM and sales management systems.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience within tourism, hospitality, education travel, leisure, accommodation, or adventure tourism sectors is desirable.
Full valid drivers licence and ability to travel.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue targets across all business divisions.
Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to deliver exceptional commercial performance.
Set, monitor, and review individual and team sales targets and performance measures.
Identify opportunities for growth across education, youth, family, group, corporate, accommodation, and tourism markets.
Implement sales campaigns, promotions, pricing initiatives, and incentive schemes to maximise revenue and conversion rates.
Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where required.
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, youth organisations, tour operators, corporate clients, travel agents, group organisers, and other key stakeholders.
Manage existing accounts to maximise retention, repeat business, and revenue growth.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and oversee opportunities from prospecting through to conversion.
Recruit, train, coach and develop members of the sales team.
Actively develop business base and account manage.
Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey, work collaboratively with all departments and resolve any customer issues.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and risks.
Represent the organisation at trade shows, exhibitions, networking events, educational conferences, and industry events.
