Position Overview
Pantheon Data is seeking a
Data Analytics Team Lead
to support data-driven decision-making and program performance initiatives within DHS, DoD, and/or USCG environments. This role will focus on advanced data analysis, performance measurement, data consolidation across multiple systems, and the development and maintenance of tools that improve data quality and operational insights. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with federal data systems such as SAM, FSMS, and SharePoint, along with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in data visualization, technical leadership, data governance, and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide and enable data-driven analytical decision-making.
Perform advanced data analytics to measure program performance against benchmark targets.
Consolidate data from multiple systems and provide data analysis in support of programmatic decision making.
Develop enablement tools to improve the data quality across systems of record.
Sustain and maintain performance management tools developed.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Management, Engineering or Business.
Minimum 8+ years of DHS or DoD experience.
Minimum 8+ years of Data Analytics experience.
This experience may overlap with DHS/DoD experience
Experience with Shore Asset Management (SAM), FSMS, SharePoint, etc.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience supporting DHS/USCG or any federal agency
Data storytelling and visualization
Analytical curiosity and attention to detail
Effective technical communication as a team leader in data-focused projects
Integrity in data governance
Collaboration across technical and non-technical teams
Innovation in analytical tools and platforms
Clearance Requirements
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements. Ability to obtain Public Trust prior to hire and maintain during employment is required.
Work Location:
Hybrid - USCG HQ (DHS St. Elizabeth's Campus in D.C.)

If this position is assigned to a Pantheon Data office location or client site, you'll work with colleagues and clients in person, as needed for specific client requirements.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $190,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
