We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to lead and develop a high-performing engineering team within a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
This role is responsible for engineering leadership across safety, quality, people development, and process performance, while providing strong technical support to Operations, Quality, and Validation.
Key Responsibilities Lead and promote a Safety First culture, ensuring compliant and safe working practices.
Manage, coach, and develop the engineering team through clear objectives, performance reviews, and capability development.
Champion structured, data-driven problem solving and continuous improvement.
Ensure engineering compliance with quality systems, training requirements, and regulatory standards.
Own engineering non-conformances, failure investigations, change management, and customer complaints.
Drive productivity, waste reduction, and equipment reliability through effective maintenance, calibration, and spares programmes.
Provide technical leadership to support operational performance, new product introductions, and technical transfers.
Support automation, capital projects, and design-for-manufacture initiatives.
Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
10+ years' process engineering experience, including 5+ years leading teams in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Experience with new product introduction, technical transfers, and high-speed automation.
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a compliance-driven environment.
Project management experience is beneficial.
