Mount Joseph at Waterville, a leading healthcare provider in Waterville, Maine, is seeking a talented and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on our day shift. As a vital member of our care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our residents. Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to patients, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Assist with vital signs, including taking temperatures, blood pressures, and pulse rates Help residents with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and safety techniques Maintain a safe and clean environment, following infection control protocols and adhering to safety guidelines Document patient information accurately and thoroughly Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in activities and conversations that promote dignity and well-being Requirements:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients with care and precision Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Reliable transportation and flexibility with scheduling What We Offer: • 12-hour shifts (5:45p-6:15a) • $20 - $25 HOURLY salary, negotiable based on experience • A generous benefits package, including Medical/Dental/Vision/Retirement • Pay-in-Lieu of Benefits availability • Paid time off starting at 2 weeks per year • Room to grow and advance within the company • $3,500 sign on bonus paid out according to MJW policy • Generous shift and weekend differentials Why Choose Mount Joseph at Waterville?
