SMO was founded in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1989 and is recognized throughout the Southeast as a janitorial service industry leader. Job Skills / Requirements Schedule: Mon-Thurs. 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM & Fri. 5:00PM to 9:00PM
Major Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning and floor work as scheduled including but not limited to:
Stripping, burnishing, top scrub, and refinishing hard surface floors Scrub and seal quarry tile and ceramic floors Spot clean, bonnet clean, and hot water extract carpets Pressure wash hard surfaces Perform a variety of general cleaning tasks including, but not limited to: sweeping, dust mopping, and wet mopping, spot cleaning, trash collection and removal, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms and replenishing supplies, break rooms.
Ensure that equipment and vehicles are maintained in a clean operable condition. Move office furniture, including files, desks, chairs, etc. Set up and break down rooms for meetings (tables and chairs) Follow all safety, security and key control procedures. Immediately report any building or equipment maintenance concerns to your supervisor or manager. Immediately report all accidents, safety hazards and security concerns to your supervisor or manager. Store equipment in a clean and organized manner at all times. Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with customer's and company expectations. Complete required reports communicating work completed, hours used and information needed for billing. Perform such other duties as requested by your supervisor.
