Responsabilités
- Participer activement à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre du Plan d'intervention interdisciplinaire
- Effectuer des évaluations fonctionnelles et comportementales, notamment de la fonction neuro-musculosquelettique, de l’impact des incapacités sur les capacités fonctionnelles et des habitudes de vie des résidents, et formuler des recommandations d’intervention.
- Aider les résidents à développer, retrouver ou à maintenir leurs capacités physiques ou mentales, ou à s’adapter à leurs incapacités, en mettant en œuvre des programmes comprenant des activités manuelles et artisanales, des habiletés domestiques, des activités de la vie quotidienne, ainsi que des activités sensori‑motrices, éducatives, récréatives et sociales.
- Informer et accompagner le personnel, les résidents et les familles quant aux programmes d’exercices à domicile, et recommander ou fournir les aides techniques et équipements appropriés.
- Favoriser les interactions entre les résidents
- Assurer le bon fonctionnement des équipements en participant à la maintenance préventive, en suivant les instructions des fabricants, en résolvant les dysfonctionnements et en organisant les réparations
- Maîtrise en ergothérapie
- Membre de l'Ordre professionnel des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ)
- Deux ans d'expérience, un atout important
- Bonne connaissance de l'anglais et du français parlés et écrits. Ce poste requiert l'anglais pour répondre aux besoins des résidents, qui sont majoritairement anglophones.
