Experienced Neonatologist needed for Level 3 NICU in beautiful Redding, CA

Dignity Health Medical Group - North State is a 60+ provider multi-specialty group with care centers in Redding and Red Bluff, CA. We are a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation and aligned with Dignity Health, the largest hospital provider in California.

Position highlights :

  • The ideal candidate will desire a role as Medical Director of a Level 3 NICU, and will meet CCS guidelines for such a role.
  • Perfect opportunity for a Mid-career physician.
  • Join an established team of two other Neonatologists
  • Excellent opportunity for someone who loves teaching and training.

Compensation Package :

  • $400,000 Base Salary (122 - 24 hr shifts annually.)
  • Relocation and Sign On incentives available
  • PSLF Eligible
  • Group Paid Medical and Dental Insurance or "buy up" options
  • Comprehensive benefits package including generous Retirement match (up to 6-11%)

Job Requirements
  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license
  • Board Certification in Neonatla-Perinatal Medicine
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
  • Meet CCS guidelines for Medical Director
  • 5-10+ years of experience

Want to spend the weekend in the city? Sacramento is just over two hours away through easy farmland and the bay area is only about three to four hours from Redding. Want to refresh your spirit by dipping your toes in the ocean? A quick three hour drive takes you through bigfoot country to the northern CA coast. (Bonus points if you drive about 20 minutes farther to explore Jurassic Park - aka Fern Canyon - or the forest moon of Endor - aka Grizzly Creek SP.)
