What this job involves: As a Maintenance Tech, you'll be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting critical maintenance operations. This role involves preventative maintenance programs, coordinating with third-party vendors, and ensuring safe, efficient facility operations through hands-on technical expertise and work order management.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Assisting with third-party vendor activities

• Performing preventative maintenance

• Creating and closing work orders with detailed documentation of labor hours and parts usage

• Maintaining positive working relationships across all facility operations

• Following all safety procedures to promote a safe working environment

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays

• 3+ years of PC competency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical demands including repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking for shifts up to 12 hours

• Capability to work in various conditions including small spaces, dust, temperature variations, noise, vibration, and wet or uneven surfaces

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in preventative maintenance

• Work order management experience

• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
