Position Summary The Sales Executive will thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and play a critical role in achieving company growth and revenue goals. This individual is responsible for prospecting, developing relationships, and closing new business while delivering a consultative sales experience to brokers, consultants, and employer groups. The role requires making and receiving dozens of calls daily, developing partner channels, presenting to groups, generating and qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
Major Responsibilities
Broker distribution and development
Present and sell to consultants or employer groups of any size
Interpret, qualify, and professionally respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Maintain updated and accurate pipeline tracking and activity in CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
Cold call prospects and brokers
Present solutions via virtual and in-person meetings
Effectively leverage company-approved AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, as part of daily workflows and performance expectations to improve efficiency, organization, communication, and overall productivity
Act consultatively in all matters related to wellness
Become an expert in all ancillary wellness services offered and provide strategic direction for prospects and current clients
Generate new leads through broker and direct-to-end-user sales channels
Build and sustain positive relationships with the entire WellnessIQ staff
Interact with staff, management, and vendors to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness
Frequent travel; may include overnight, multi-day, and out-of-state travel for broker meetings, client meetings, conferences, trainings, and other business needs
Job Requirements & Qualifications Education & Experience
College degree preferred
3+ years of sales, employee benefits, or related experience, or any combination of education, experience, and training that provides knowledge and abilities to perform the job
Comfort with cold calling and objection handling
Passion for health and wellness
Insurance brokerage experience specifically in employee benefits preferred

Strong communication and presentation skills
Consultative selling approach with ability to uncover client needs
High level of motivation, resilience, and competitiveness
Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a pipeline
Relationship‑building with both internal teams and external partners
Comfort with cold outreach and objection handling
Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
Ability to respond professionally and accurately to requests received from a variety of clients
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Willingness to learn Microsoft Copilot and other company-supported AI productivity tools
Salesforce CRM experience preferred
Proficiency in Teams, Zoom, or other virtual presentation tools

Pay Types
Salary – The salary range for this position is location-dependent and aligned with local market benchmarks and cost-of-living considerations. The salary is determined by working location, level of experience, and relevant education.
Variable compensation – Commission
Travel Requirement
Travel may be required up to 50% of the time and may vary based on business priorities, sales opportunities, client needs, and territory demands.
Employees must maintain flexibility and availability for required travel, including occasional short notice travel and on‑site attendance as needed.
WellnessIQ will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of travel requirements whenever practicable, though advance notice may not always be possible.
Salary Information The pay range for this role is 55,000 – 65,000 USD per year (Remote).
