Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospitalist Exciting opportunity to join the inaugural Ascension Seton OB Hospitalist group in Austin, Texas! As we prepare for the grand opening of our state-of-the art Ascension Seton Women's Hospital - a facility designed to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care across the spectrum of women's health - we are establishing a dedicated Obstetric Hospitalist Program. This team will enhance safety, continuity, and patient satisfaction through 24/7 on-site obstetric coverage at 2 sites and weekend coverage at a third site. The Obstetric Hospitalist will provide round-the-clock inpatient obstetric care, ensuring immediate availability for labor and delivery triage, emergent obstetric events, and inpatient consultations. The ideal candidate is a board-certified/board-eligible OB/GYN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high quality, evidence-based care. Position Highlights:
3 site choices - Ascension Seton Women's Hospital, Ascension Seton Medical Center Williamson in Round Rock, Texas and Dell Children's Medical Center Special Delivery Unit Flexible scheduling models available including 12 or 24-hour shifts Full-time, part-time or PRN available Anticipated commitment of service of this group to each of the 3 sites includes: Dell Children's Medical Center - 24/7, 7 days/week; Ascension Seton Medical Center Williamson - Friday, 5pm to Monday, 8am; Ascension Seton Women's Hospital - 7pm to 7am weekdays, Friday, 7pm to Monday, 7am. Compensation is per hour determined by acuity level of the patients: Ascension Seton Women's Hospital - 200/hr; Ascension Seton Medical Center Williamson - 180/hr; Dell Children's Medical Center - 150/hr Professional liability coverage with tail. Participation in shaping the culture, work-flows, and growth of a new flagship program in women's health. Holistic benefits eligible for full or part-time
Additional Requirements:
Completion of an accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABOG Current Texas medical license (or eligibility) and DEA registration by start date Prior experience as an OB hospitalist or in high-acuity obstetrics preferred but not required.
