Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Team in Laurinburg, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri05:45 AM - 06:00 PMSat05:45 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or authorized contractors by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and support security-related screening processes in accordance with post orders and facility requirements.
- Maintain a visible presence while handling security-related situations, escalating concerns when appropriate, and supporting order within a controlled government environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
