Qualifications / Job Requirements At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an outpatient, surgical, perioperative, or relevant specialty setting
Active RN license in Pennsylvania (PA)
Ability to work on-site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams - strong teamwork skills
Excellent communication, clinical documentation, and organizational skills
Commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and quality improvement
Responsibilities (Outpatient Surgical Nursing & Pediatric PACU/OR) Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across outpatient specialties including Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute Care, Pediatric PACU, and Pediatric OR
Perform patient assessments, develop and implement nursing plans, and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with physicians and allied health staff
Monitor patient progress, manage perioperative and post-anesthesia care, and document care accurately in electronic medical records
Deliver patient and family education on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and post-procedure care
Maintain a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for patients and clinical staff; adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Support smooth patient flow in an outpatient surgical setting and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
