Position Summary...
What you'll do...
A Staff data scientist would be expected to play an important role in developing and scaling data science solutions in order to achieve outstanding business outcomes for Marketplace.
Workingtogether with a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers to develop, implement, and test scalable solutions for marketing intelligence domain.
Consultwith business stakeholders across Marketplace functionsregardingalgorithm-based recommendations and be a thought-leader to develop these into business actions.
Mentorjunior members andIndividuallyexecute multiple projects at the same time.
Managethe continuous improvement of data science and machine learning led initiatives by following industry best practices and stayingup-to-datewith the state-of-the-art in data science research.
Excellentacademic or industrialtrack recordof proposing,conductingand reporting results of original research, plus collaborative research with publications.
Position Requirements
Verygoodknowledge of the foundations of machine learning and statistics and has made significant original contributions to the area in practice.
Solidexperience working withstate-of-the-artagentic, Gen AI,supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms on real-world problems, preferably in ecommerce domain.
StrongPython coding skills and able to work with at least one other programming language such as Java/Scala.
Abilityto work in a big data ecosystem - expert in SQL/Hive and ability to work with Spark.
Extensiveexperience building and deployingstate of the artmodels (classic ML and Deep learning)
Strong ability to understand the business and good stakeholder management capabilities and has mentored data scientists in developing ML solutions.
Qualifications
PhD with > 6 years of experience / Master's degree with > 8 years of experience. Educational qualifications should be preferably in Computer Science or a related area. Experience should be relevant to the role.
Good to have:
Experience in ecommerce domain.
Demonstratedsuccess in data science platforms like Kaggle.

The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
