Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Georgetown, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post offering the chance to work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, while putting people first and acting with integrity every day.

Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri07:00 AM - 05:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 07:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and/or vehicle access in accordance with post orders and site requirements.
- Support emergency preparedness activities by assisting with evacuations, access control changes, and/or coordination with site contacts and public responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
