Opportunity Overview We have an immediate opening for a Phlebotomist/Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Fertility Centers of Illinois to support our Milwaukee, Wisconsin office.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Compensation: $27 hourly

In this role, the Phlebotomist/Patient Care Coordinator will:
Perform venipuncture and collect blood, urine, and tissue specimens using proper techniques and Universal Precautions Confirm lab orders in, verify patient identity, and ensure accurate specimen collection and labeling Follow insurance guidelines and complete necessary consent forms prior to specimen collection Process specimens for in-house or external testing (e.g., Quest, LabCorp, ACL, genetic panels) Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of phlebotomy and clinical areas Ensure biohazard and sharps disposal procedures are followed Provide timely and compassionate service to patients Support nurses with specimen-related workflows and patient follow-ups Communicate clear expectations around results timelines and next steps Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to HIPAA at all times Provide coverage at other clinic locations as needed, including weekends
What You'll Bring We're looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter. Qualifications and Skills Include:
High school diploma required Phlebotomy certification or diploma required CPR certification required Proficient in venipuncture and clinical specimen processing Prior experience in a fast-paced medical office or fertility clinic strongly preferred Familiarity with EMR systems and lab portals Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask Able to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to start (unless an approved medical or religious exemption is provided)
