We're hiring a Head of Engineering to lead the next phase of innovation at Tamnoon. As a Series A startup at the intersection of cloud security and AI automation, we're building transformative products that help teams remediate risks safely, scalably, and fast.
This is not a backseat leadership role—we're looking for a builder. Someone who can architect and ship secure, intelligent systems. Someone fluent in LLMs, agents, and AI-first design. Someone who codes when needed, but leads by unlocking great ideas across a high-performing team.
As Head of Engineering, you will shape our technical vision, product execution, and direction. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with Product and Security leadership to turn new capabilities into customer value—fast.
What You Will Do
Lead Technical Innovation: Drive R&D of secure, scalable AI-powered systems; embed LLMs, agents, and decision systems into remediation workflows; architect AI-native components with performance, security, and explainability in mind; iterate on AI features that give customers clarity, control, and confidence in automation.
Build a World-Class R&D Team: Mentor and hire diverse, high-performing full-stack, backend engineers, and ML specialists; foster engineering excellence and ownership while maintaining reliability and security; lead technical design reviews, prototyping cycles, and production readiness.
Bridge Product, Engineering, and Customer Impact: Partner with Product and Security to translate vision into roadmap and execution; balance agility with long-term investment and platform evolution.
Be a Face of Innovation: Represent Tamnoon in technical due diligence, investor briefings, and AI/security thought leadership; stay on top of open-source AI, cloud architecture, and cybersecurity to bring best ideas forward.
What You Can Bring
10+ years in software engineering with a strong R&D orientation; ideally 3+ years in a leadership role
Proven experience designing and shipping complex, secure cloud systems (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Deep hands-on fluency with LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), autonomous agents, and open-source AI tooling (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, vector DBs)
Track record leading cross-functional, high-agency engineering teams that move fast and scale
Strong product sense and ability to connect research breakthroughs with end-user value
Excellent collaboration and communication, especially in remote, distributed environments
Nice to Have
Background in cybersecurity, security tooling, or remediation workflows
Experience integrating AI into B2B SaaS, developer platforms, or workflow automation products
Familiarity with secure AI practices, privacy controls, and ethical model deployment
