Create Custom Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and formulate tailored therapy approaches that support functional achievements. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based strategies to enhance patients' physical abilities, cognitive skills, and daily activities. Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in unison with fellow occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care. Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and their caregivers on various therapy methods to promote progress outside the clinical setting. Track and Record Progress: Monitor patient development and document outcomes effectively, making adjustments to treatment as necessary to keep them on track. Education
Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Ongoing education and certifications are encouraged and supported. Certifications
Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in Hawaii. Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory. Skills
