Headquartered in Palm Desert, CA, Daily Grill Concepts is a national restaurant company with 5 restaurants in two states. The Company boasts 2 different, yet complimentary brands, spanning the spectrum from Casual Daily Grill to the hip and trendy Public School Gastro Pubs.
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Manager!
The FOH Hourly Manager will be responsible for assisting the Management Team with the daily operations of the restaurant including guest satisfaction, team member support, and maintaining the company culture of the restaurant. The Hourly Manager reports to the General Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee on shift operations including meeting labor goals, coaching team members, quality controlDeliver superior service and maximize guest's experience by touching tables, addressing any guest concerns, and being a visible and accessible point of contact on the floorPlan successful shifts by leading huddle ups, line checks, and being aware of all team member's time on the clock. Guide the team with when/if they need a break, if they are reaching overtime, etc.Assist with setting and communicating company policies and processesServe as a mentor to the team by leading by example, assisting with training new employees as needed, and upholding all team members to our standards (Sequence of Service, Health Dept. etc)Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints following the L.A.S.T. MethodActively communicate with your Management team including information about shift flow, labor, team member performance, guest comments, PDR events, team member concerns, and any other pertinent information by utilizing the Manager Log feature in R365.Ensure staff follows health and safety regulationsOther duties will be assigned
Job Requirements:
Must have an open availability including weekends and holidaysMinimum of 2 years in a full-service restaurantStrong multi-tasking ability, with the ability to work well under pressurePositive and Professional AttitudeKnowledge of business process and functionsExcellent Communication skillsOutstanding organizational and leadership skillsProblem-solving aptitudeMust be committed to our mission and culture
