Get a sneak peek into life at ADESA!/ph3Role and Team/h3pReporting to the General Sales Manager (GSM) or designated Manager, the Inside Sales Representative acts as a tactical partner by building and maintaining customer/client relationships in order to grow the auction business. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with assigned customers including individual dealers, dealer groups, institutional accounts and others resulting in auction sales./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliBuild and maintain relationships with dealer accounts to drive buying and selling activity, acting as a liaison between dealers, outside sales representatives, and auction personnel/liliProvide prompt, courteous service across phone, email, and in-person interactions, resolving customer concerns professionally and escalating serious issues to management as appropriate/liliConduct outbound sales calls daily to solicit new business, discuss inventory needs, promote upcoming auction events, and educate customers on available services/liliConsult with dealers on pricing strategy using market valuation data to improve conversion rates and monitor performance against targets/liliEducate customers on digital platform tools and services to match their needs to available product offerings/liliPrepare for and support auction day activities including inventory walkthroughs, dealer engagement, and closing post sale offers./liliAnalyze pre- and post-auction reports to identify trends and opportunities and communicate findings to dealers and internal teams/liliLog all customer interactions and manage follow-ups in the company CRM in real time/liliCommunicate with internal departments to ensure accurate marketing of sale inventory and maximize vehicle exposure/liliMeet or exceed inbound/outbound phone call activity, sales targets, and performance expectations set by management/liliFollow all company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws/li/ulh3Skills and Attributes/h3ulliStrong relationship-building and customer engagement skills/liliResults-driven with a focus on sales performance/liliEffective communicator with negotiation and problem-solving abilities/liliHighly organized with strong attention to detail/liliData-driven mindset with ability to interpret reports and metrics/liliProficient with CRM tools, Salesforce, and Google products suites/liliTeam-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliHigh School diploma or GED preferred/lili13 years of inside sales, account management, or customer service experience/liliAutomotive/auction experience preferred/liliAbility to work in a fast-paced environment/liliStrong communication, organizational, and computer skills/liliMust be 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license that meets the requirements/li/ulh3ADESA Benefits and Perks/h3pCompetitive Pay | Quality Benefits | Holiday and Paid Time Off | Education and Equipment Reimbursement Programs | Matching 401(k) | Career Path Opportunities | And More!/ph3Other Requirements/h3pPhysical Working Conditions: The physical activity requirements of the position are from light to medium physical demands./ppThis position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with internal and external service station/convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations./ph3Legal Stuff/h3pHiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
