Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedures, clearly explaining each phase with empathy and professionalism Work seamlessly with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues Accurately document procedures and update patient records in the electronic health record system Stay informed of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices Education Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred Certifications Required
Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred Skills Needed
Strong technical aptitude in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Comfortable in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care Benefits Overview
