Summary The Department of Management, Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is actively seeking a dynamic Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen our team. Our team provides custom developed enterprise and agency-specific solutions and is committed to using modern technologies and methodologies to deliver secure, high-quality technical solutions to its customers. Finalists will undergo a 90-minute interview In this role, you'll spearhead the design and seamless migration of our infrastructure from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise. You'll focus on streamlining and automating our software delivery processes. While our current methodologies boast significant automation, you'll have the opportunity to architect a brand-new framework within GitHub, meticulously orchestrating workflows, actions, and security protocols to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability. Successful candidates will thrive in dynamic environments, possess a strong penchant for innovation, and be adept at navigating complex technical landscapes. Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and agile development methodologies Technical understanding of infrastructure components, their dependencies, and interactions between them Hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code /automation Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with and across teams Thrives working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining flexibility and an ability to adapt quickly Shares our enthusiasm for delivery solutions that bring value Ability to take ownership and make decisions This role will be remote Monday thru Friday during standard business hours. GitHub Enterprise Administration Required 5-7Years Azure DevOps Administration Required 4-6 Years GitHub Actions, Workflows, Standardization, SonarQube Required 2-3 Years Implementing Integrations with Monitoring Tools Required 1-2 Years Infrastructure as Code Required 1-2 Years Containerization and Deployments Required1-2 Years Azure Cloud Engineering Required 1-2 Years User Support and Training, Leadership Required 1-2 Years GitHub Certifications Desired 1-2 Years AWS Cloud Engineering Desired 1-2 Years GCP Engineering Desired 1-2 Years Basic Understanding of FedRAMP, FIPS, FTI, and HIPAA Desired 1-2 Years Experience with 0365, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta Desired 1 Years
