Exceptional organizational, written and verbal skills, a keen attention to detail, and flexibility to handle the unexpected, are essential for success in this position./ppThe Sales Assistant is an entry level position. A Sales Assistant will assist the Senior Event Manager to organize and execute special events such as corporate receptions, weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, or any special affair our clients desire./ppOur Event Coordinators goal is to have every Canyon Catering Client saying;/ppYou Only Live Once, Lets Party!/ppSome of the various responsibilities and skill set include:/pulliAccompany the Senior Event Coordinator at meetings with clients to determine the type of party they would like to host, and the budget they have to work with./liliScheduling in-house meetings and tastings./liliCommunicating with clients and members of various department teams/liliPlacing orders for rentals or special items needed to execute the clients event./liliCreate and send event marketing communication via email/liliOrder and manage the delivery of event supplies/liliAssist the Senior Event Coordinators with the responsibilities for planning an epic party, from entering the menu proposals to booking vendors/liliFamiliarity with Caterease Event Planning and Microsoft Office applications/liliIntermediate math skills/liliA great smile, positive energy, and a can do attitude/liliIntuitive relative to the needs of clients, as well as double-checking orders/liliFull service restaurant, and familiarity with food pairings / accompaniments a plus/li/ulpTalented passionate staff is always sought out by Canyon Catering
