Umsatzsteuer-Spezialist / Umsatzsteuer-Experte (m/w/d)
Wir suchen einen Umsatzsteuer-Spezialisten (m/w/d) zur Unterstützung der Einhaltung von europäischen Umsatzsteuervorschriften in einem internationalen Geschäftsumfeld. Der Schwerpunkt dieser Position liegt auf der praktischen Umsatzsteuerberichterstattung, Unterstützung bei Steuerprüfungen sowie Beratung bei inländischen und grenzüberschreitenden Transaktionen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Finanzabteilung und externen Steuerberatern.
Deine Aufgaben:
- Erstellung, Prüfung und Einreichung von Umsatzsteuererklärungen sowie der dazugehörigen Abstimmungen für europäische Länder
- Unterstützung bei der Einhaltung der Umsatzsteuervorschriften, einschließlich Registrierungen und Meldepflichten
- Unterstützung bei Umsatzsteuerprüfungen und Funktion als Ansprechpartner für Anfragen der Steuerbehörden
- Unterstützung interner Stakeholder (z. B. Finanzwesen, Vertrieb, Einkauf) in Umsatzsteuerfragen
- Prüfung von Geschäftsvorgängen und Bewertung der umsatzsteuerlichen Auswirkungen (insbesondere bei länderübergreifenden Transaktionen)
- Unterstützung bei der Umsatzsteuerrückforderung, bei Intrastat-Aktivitäten und Abstimmungen
- Verwaltung von umsatzsteuerlichen Themen in ERP-/Finanzsystemen und bei der Rechnungsbearbeitung
- Koordination mit externen Steuerberatern und Wirtschaftsprüfern
- Mitwirkung an der Umsatzsteuerdokumentation, an Prozessverbesserungen und am internen Wissensaustausch
- Abschluss in Steuerwesen, Rechnungswesen, Finanzwesen, Rechtswissenschaften oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Bereich Umsatzsteuer-Compliance und -beratung, idealerweise im internationalen Umfeld
- Fundierte Kenntnisse der EU-Umsatzsteuer und grenzüberschreitender Transaktionen
- Erfahrung mit ERP-Systemen (z. B. SAP) ist von Vorteil
- Strukturiertes Arbeiten, Detailgenauigkeit und die Fähigkeit, selbstständig zu arbeiten
- Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
