We leverage a vast network to deliver efficient and reliable services across the country, emphasizing customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
OVERALL PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Regional Operation Manager, you will be responsible for all operations across all phases of the Company's activities. You will ensure that planned performance objectives, as detailed in the strategic plan, cost controls, and revenue targets, are met. This position is based in a warehouse and operational environment with the expectation for the individual to be interactive with employees at all levels.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coach, manage, and develop a team of 100-150 employees
- Responsible for budget management, cost control to increase profits and minimize losses in the region
- Manage employee/labour relations process through appropriate application of Collective Agreement, health and safety obligations and manage all Human Resource matters
- Monitor and improve EBIT through profitable revenue growth and management of pickup and delivery costs
- Provide leadership through appropriate decision-making, communication, and motivation, to get service centre management and staff to effectively perform their duties
- Ensure staff compliance with established company standards, policies, and procedures
- Process branch paperwork and prepare required reports & statistics
- Responsible for internal and external customer satisfaction
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in leadership positions
- Demonstrated general accounting, finance & administration experience
- Good communication skills- written & verbal
- Must be fully bilingual in English & French
- Demonstratedability to develop people
- Min. 3-5 years management experience in a service-related organization
- Proven work experience in a union environment
- Demonstrated analysis & problem-solving skills
- Flexible hours. 25-50% travel required to cover regional requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 -7 years management experience in a medium to large service company, preferably transportation
- University degree or college degree
- Demonstrated experience implementing quality/process improvement initiatives

SOMMAIRE DU POSTE :
Sous l’autorité du Directeur régional, vous êtes responsable de l’ensemble des opérations à toutes les phases des activités de la Société. Vous assurez que les objectifs de performance planifiés, tels que détaillés par le plan stratégique, les contrôles des coûts et les objectifs de revenus, sont atteints. Il s’agit d'un poste dans un environnement d'entrepôt et d'exploitation, avec l'attente que l'individu soit interactif avec les employés à tous les niveaux.
FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS :
- Coacher, gérer et développer une équipe de 100 à 150 employés.
- Responsable à la gestion budgétaire, au contrôle des coûts afin de rentabiliser des profits et minimiser les pertes de la région.
- Administrer l’application des conventions collectives, des obligations SST et gérer toutes les questions relatives aux ressources humaines.
- Surveiller et améliorer l'EBIT grâce à une croissance rentable des revenus et à la gestion des coûts de ramassage et de livraison.
- Fournir un leadership par la prise de décision appropriée, la communication et la motivation, afin que la direction du centre de service et le personnel accomplissent efficacement leurs tâches.
- Veillez la conformité du personnel aux normes, aux politiques et aux procédures établies de l'entreprise.
- Traiter la documentation nécessaire, préparer les rapports et les statistiques requis.
- Assurez la qualité des services et à la satisfaction des clients, tant à l'interne qu'à l'externe.
QUALIFICATIONS MINIMALES:
- Expérience dans des postes de direction
- Expérience démontrée en comptabilité, finance et administration
- Bonnes compétences en communication – écrites et orales
- Doit être parfaitement bilingue en anglais et en français
- Capacité démontrée à développer une équipe
- Minimum 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en gestion dans une organisation liée aux services
- Expérience significative dans un environnement syndiqué.
- Compétences démontrées en analyse et résolution de problèmes
- Horaires flexibles. 25 à 50% des déplacements sont requis pour couvrir les besoins régionaux
QUALIFICATIONS PRÉFÉRÉES:
- 5 à 7 ans d'expérience en gestion dans une entreprise de services de taille moyenne à grande, de préférence dans le transport
- Diplôme universitaire ou collégial
- Expérience démontrée de la mise en œuvre d'initiatives de qualité et d'amélioration des processus
