Provides patient education and support as needed to assist physician, patient and family. Assists coworkers and draws blood as needed.
QualificationsEducation Required: High school diploma or GED.
Education Preferred: Completion of certified medical assistant program, completion of the Huntsville Hospital Patient Care Tech program or CNA.
License, Certification and/or Registration: CNA or LPN Preferred. BLS must be received within the orientation period. Experience: Phlebotomy experience preferred. Minimum of one year experience working in a clinic setting preferred. Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must be able to use computer, fax machine and copy machine. Must be detail oriented and work well in a team environment
