- Schedule: 7-day call coverage and procedural time plus 3 additional days of procedural time. Total of 10 days per month.
- Clinical Areas: Adult, Hospital, Gastro
- Onsite Labs & X-Ray
- Outpatient Gastroenterology: Scopes performed Monday through Friday with outpatient scopes starting at 9 am to allow for on-call cases to be completed prior (7-9). This can be adjusted if needed to allow more or less time for add-ons.
- Outpatient Scopes: Average 7-9 per day along with inpatient rounding.
- Inpatient Referrals: Daily during call coverage. Average of 4-5 new consults per day while on call.
- Average Number of Office/Clinic Patients Per Locum Per Day: 1-8 procedural scopes per day
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 1-15
- Average Number of Hospital-Based Patients Per Locum Per Day: 1-15
- Number of Physicians in Group: 1.5 and 2 APC
- Approximately 40-50 procedures during the 10-day period
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
- Small Bowel Biopsy
- Lower GI Endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- GI Endoscopy with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal, with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser), Diagnostic, Therapeutic, with Injection of Varices, with Banding of Varices, with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
- Board Certified: REQUIRED
- Active OH License & DEA: HIGHLY Preferred; willing to accept IMLC candidates
- ACLS/BLS Certified: REQUIRED
- ERCP: HIGHLY desired, but not required
- Flu Vaccination: REQUIRED, noted at the time of name clear
- COVID Vaccination: HIGHLY Preferred
