Share Apply Full-time High school degree Starting at $17.00 per hour Retail ACE Hardware Job Description: Qualified retail associates will ensure our customers are made to feel welcomed. Wallauer is looking for candidates that have strong communication and customer service skills. A positive attitude and the willingness to learn is essential to every staff member, and the growth of the company. Essential Functions of the ACE Hardware Associate position: Greet customers entering and leaving the store and proactively assist customers in solving problems. Possess a friendly, outgoing demeanor, and work well with customers as well as associates. Ensure all calls are answered promptly, courteously, and effectively. Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products. Builds rapport with customers and works to ensure they receive excellent service. Handles instance of customer dissatisfaction and specific customer complaints reasonably, promptly, and effectively and recommend adjustments to management Assist in creating a positive, professional, and safe work environment. Assist with receiving, checking in, and stocking merchandise throughout the store. Assist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps and ad merchandise. Assist with merchandise resets through the store. Ensure signage is current throughout the store. Participate in store meetings. Be professional in appearance and actions. Maintain a neat, clean updated front counter Self-Starter, quick learner, and team player with strong communication skills ACE Hardware Associate Job Requirement: Some Hardware knowledge Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Willingness to take on additional tasks and be a team player Must be able to lift 40lbs, take out the trash, clean where needed, and perform any other tasks that need to be completed Must have reliable transportation Employee Benefits: Paid time off Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) Employee discounts.
